Our biggest success to date!
With the 2018 World Parachuting Championships now done and dusted, Manufactory Apparel would like to give you an up-close, first-hand look into Australia’s National Skydiving Team uniforms. Unofficially unveiled to the athletes during their national training seminars earlier in 2018, these outfits were modelled during training and competition each day, all meetings and functions, the NZA Tent (of course) and Sun Path VIP Bar in the evenings. As well as the highly anticipated opening ceremony on the Gold Coast Beach at the end of Cavill Avenue. We used the nation's famous flag color navy, the dusty khaki of the outback and our beloved ‘green and gold’ with a twist.Inspired by the recent Gold Coast Commonwealth Games’, we created a savvy teal green accompanied by luxurious gold, suitably designed for moderate climates and casual wearing outside of competition. Australian Parachute Federation CEO Brad Turner joined Rob Libeau and Manufactory Apparel to work closely on the uniforms in hopes that all competitive Aussie Skydivers would be full of pride wearing the national colours during the event. Alongside striving to inspire a new age of competitive skydivers in this fast generation of competition. The modern teal color of the ¼ neck zipper outer layer was contrasted with gold embroideries of the Australian Flag and crest. Then paired with the bold navy of the nation's flag in the underlayer technical T-shirt. Strong upper body colors were paired with the khaki 4-way stretch outdoor pant, the very same pant that Manufactory Apparel helped to create with the APF in 2015 and again in 2016 It has proven to be a style that's been very popular among prior athletes.
